iPhone

I can't believe I did it, but as of Wednesday of this week, I own an iPhone. I thought I could resist the temptation and stay content with my Treo, but I just couldn't. The initial price of the iPhones was what turned me off, but once the price of the 4gb iPhone dropped to $299, I bit the bullet and bought one.
I must say, even with me being a technology guy and an Apple fan (not a fanboy!), this phone surpasses my expectations. The interface, the features, the ease of use, it all comes together for a pretty sweet experience and makes for one of the funnest and coolest phones I've played with.
One thing that hurt, though, is that I had to give up my number I'd had for seven years. I had a number that ended in 8888 since I had a phone, and I figured it was time to get a Murray, KY, number since I live here now. Giving up the Quad 8s was hard, but I've managed.
Anyway, I highly recommend the iPhone to anyone thinking of making the purchase. You'll be glad you did.
